August Journal

   Hi there once again my friends,

                  Its me Eric again with an another Journal entry to keep all of your entertained. Well I can't believe that this year 2014 is already half way over while I still think that it was only yesterday that it just got started and can't wait what the rest of the year got in store for us. Well last week my little Brother Sean turned 35 and last weekend we treated him out the same way I was treated on my birthday last month We went to the movies to see Hercules starring Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock and Its was an fun adventure film that was waaay better than the last Hercules movie that came out earlier this year "The Legend of Hercules" and this movie with the Rock even brought back some memories for me of the Old TV series 'Hercules the Legendary Journeys'' With Kevin Sorbo in the lead role and this movie also has an lolaus for comedy relief only on here he's Herc's nephew and Altlanta as well only this time she's an Amazon Archer that one of Herc's merrymen and not the sexy strong Blacksmith played by legendary women's Bodybuilding champion Cory Everson in the TV show. anyway it was a action packed fun flick and after that we eat out for dinner. Well One more month of Summer to go and there's some still long awaited movies that will come out before its done Like tomorrow with Guardian of the Galaxy, The following weekend with the The Reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and later this month Sin City 2 "a Dame to die for"' with two of my favorite actresses Rosario Dawson and Jessica Alba.
                 Well Thanks again for all the great llama badges great comments and even a few more DEV Watches as well. I know that I have found a home in Deviant Art. Before I go I want to give a big shoutout to all of you who have been out at Comic Con In San Diego, California Last weekend and I know that it was a blast either you were showing off your great works in Comics, Video Games, Toys and paintings, Dressing up as your favorite Superhero or Villian or even meeting and greeting your favorite actor and actress from your favorite TV Show or movie as well. Wish that I was there to see it in person But I got a poem only one this time sorry ha-ha! for all of you who were there at the event its about one of my hobbies and hope that you enjoy it.
          
                                   COMICS, MY LOVE OF MY LIFE!

Nothing can describe one of my true loves and favorite Hobbies
That I first got started when I was at the tender age of Three

it's something that takes me to a world that's both fantasy and fun
It actually got me to start reading and my life jump started bar none

it's my lifelong love for buying and reading comic books
Knowing and learning about the fate of my favorite superheroes of how good or bad things look

I've been collecting and reading comics books ever since I was a little child
All the characters that I've been followed are all strong and interesting and worth my while

Comics have become one of my life's biggest treasures
Being able to read them have given me many hours of timeless pleasures

I have heroes form D.C. comics like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, Green Lantern, Plastic Man, Justice League, Teen Titans, Hawkman, Power Girl, Supergirl and Shazam!

I also love my favorites from the Marvel Universe as well such as Spiderman, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, Daredevil,Blade, She-Hulk, The Avengers, Fantastic Four and the X-Men

I always cheer on the good guys in their never ending fight against the forces of Evil
they maybe down for a while but never out and at the end they always prevail

They stand in the words of a certain man of Steel,"Truth, Justice and the American Way!"
while also knowing about controlling their superhuman skills and by the words of a certain web slinger "With great power comes great Responsibility' each and everyday

Comics are indeed fun for our imagination any time you pick one up and start to read
In which sometimes we dream about having super strength, hearing and Speed

So on your spare time enjoy reading a comic either if you're young or old
And I hope that you do keep some of them as Collector's items someday because they might worth more than solid 14 karat Gold!
